This guy had a brand new Civic, and paid $3000 to have Circuit City install an in-dash Nav system, stereo, and speakers. Apparently the installer was having a bad day, because he melted the heating ducts, taped the stereo/nav unit into place to hold it, and mangled some of the wiring.
A Honda dealer estimated $12k in repairs. Now the story is on all the major blogs, causing Circuit City untold damage to its reputation.
Read more here at endgadget.Update: Circuit City now claims that the guy was in a rush, and approved a non-standard install.
